eye spy with my little eye - generative art installation
In collaboration with Sarah Schwartz (‘25). This art installation uses the contrast presented by the corner to guide the viewer’s gaze. Two eyes, generated from a photograph using a Floyd-Steinberg dithering algorithm, steal glances at each other out of the corner of their eyes. Their focus converges on the corner, establishing a sense of suspicion and tension. The strong contrast of lime green and purple makes for an electrifying visual experience, and our intentional placement of the colors also emphasizes the depth of the wall. The inversion of these colors functions to contrast the walls while unifying them under a cohesive theme.
